Military bands place some of the highest demands on their instruments: a crisp, sharp metal-shell sound with a short, dry tone and direct response, as well as robust quality paired with high-quality craftsmanship.
Just as in the military, military bands strive to use state-of-the-art equipment: And when it comes to marching drums, this means—in addition to all these tonal characteristics—drums that are significantly lighter in weight. For this reason, Lefima has developed the “Special Force,” a drum that combines all these sonic requirements in a single instrument, yet weighs less than half as much as conventional models.
