aS Arnolds & Sons Clarinet wiper Micro
Cleaning the inside of musical instruments is absolutely essential.
When playing, saliva carries solids into the instruments and these are deposited in the interior. These deposits also contain aggressive acids that attack the inside of the clarinet. These solids influence the flow behavior of the vibrating air as well as the natural vibration behavior of the instrument and thus considerably reduce the sound quality and playability. The removal of these substances is therefore physically necessary and essential for the maintenance and care of the instrument. The clarinet should therefore be thoroughly cleaned with the wiper after every performance.
